The Waza Noir collection by TOTO

The Waza Noir collection by TOTO features three cast iron lavatories
that explore the deep, rich hues of black with distinct forms
and textures. Truly Zen-inspired, Waza Noir fuses organic
curves and contours with shades of black. The colors, Matte
Black and Tuxedo, are inspired from the spectrum of black
inks called “Sumi,” that were used in traditional calligraphy
artwork. These inks were handcrafted using a time-honored
method of mixing water and a block of black pigment.

The new Waza Noir single-handle faucet with textured black
finish is a perfect understated complement to the Waza Noir
collection. Playing off of the black hues reflected in the lavatories,
the faucet also adds some dimensional balance to the
collection with its taller spout and simple handle.

• The self-rimming Waza Noir lavatory charts the contrast
of two very different shapes: a circle and a rectangle. Like
in the natural world, contrast often creates beauty, which
is illustrated in the varying shapes and the transition from
glossy to matte finish.
• The rectangle Waza Noir lavatory is anything but a simple
rectangular form, with cascading sides that create a soft
appearance. Inspired by traditional paper sculpting techniques,
the lavatory’s gentle slopes create gradients of
shadows and illuminations at the same time.
• A form within a form… flat and round, like the ripples remaining
after a water drop breaks the surface of a pool. The
Waza Noir vessel lavatory transforms a simple concept and
shape into a work of art, made even more striking by the
Matte Black finish.

Kaesch Overflowing tubs, Big Deal

Whats the greatest relaxation and sensual pleasure could be while bathing in harmony with the
natural surroundings! KÄSCH realizes the feeling of full serenty of body and spirit, the overflow
bathtub is thus well designed to provide a complete revitalization experience. The sound of
overflowing water reminds you of the great image of bathing among a waterfall, similarly embraced by the hug of nature.

These bathtubs are a beauty. They have a waterfall style tub filler and the water falls over the edges of the tub as well.

What I cant figure out is, is it the setting that makes it so relaxing or the tub itself. I know that the setting has a huge impact on how relaxing ones experience in a hot tub or Jacuzzi would be, but what is relaxing about the overflowing water?

Flintstones-w13.jpg "I found the perfect tub for our new home."

The stone forest bath tub by stoneforest.com

Natural Bathtub

Since 1989, Stone Forest has created unparalleled hand-carved granite sculptures that combine the elegant simplicity of Japanese tradition and contemporary design. We create all of our own sculpture and fountains, ranging from traditional Japanese lanterns to monolithic contemporary fountains for commercial and public spaces.
The integrity of granite gives Stone Forest carvings a radiant mass or presence not realized using man-made materials such as cement or cast stone. Since each piece is hand carved using hammer and chisel, the individual character of the rock as well as the inspiration of the stonecutter lend each sculpture a unique quality.
Over the last 20 years, our sculptures have enjoyed a passionate response in residential and commercial sites nationwide. They are exhibited in public gardens and specified for projects from New York to Japan.

Egg shaped tub

Designed for all the senses: the distinctive AVEO design was created by Conran & Partners exclusively for Villeroy & Boch. For a natural, sensuous atmosphere: AVEO – the bathroom as an oasis of regeneration.

The egg is a perfect natural shape, ideal for its function. Like the shell of an egg, the shells of bathroom ceramics must be smooth, supportive and protective of the body in its vulnerable natural state. The high sides of the bath accentuate this feeling of security while promoting total relaxation. Equally important, the raised back prevents splashing when you get in or out of the bath. Spa features and heating can be integrated if desired.

Bandini Arya collection from Italdrass -
"Born at the sign of a perfect balance between innovation, shape and functionality, the modern collections represent the top of the production range of bandini."

Bla Bla Bla

This is one heck of a piece! I picture it in a pure white bathroom as it pours down to the floor where a almost flat basin sits to receive the water flowing like a real water fall. Now that would make one heck of a bathroom water fall faucet

But you will need to pay th eprice for such a design. A whooping $6,000. I only found it in on one site Here

If your tight on space then this is the answer to all your problems. although if your tight on space I doubt you can afford to get this one, its a bit pricey. a wooping $16,000. So i guess if you live in one of those tiny apartments in Manhattan that about the size of a shoe box and cost $1,000,000 a month then maybe you can and should get this one.

Psychedelic Shower

I read a lot about how to mediate. And my favorite thing is to mediate in the shower. Almost every book Ive read about how to meditate says to "close your eyes..."

I love to close my eyes in the shower and imagine i'm in a water fall in Africa or in some cosmic rain shower. It is very calming.

But this shower is great. You don't need close your eyes the walls of this shower change colors from the water. Just keep your eyes open and enjoy the "trip".

Now only if my toilet did that
